We are a writer’s association, founded when AI was just an idea in a coder’s mind. When AI featured in sci-fi as either a malevolent or benevolent force.
All our writers enjoy the struggle to find the words, to refine their ideas and their structure to tell the story they need to tell.
If you use AI to pen those words then are you a writer, or do you just want to feel like a writer?
It is easy to condemn and vilify those that use AI to write. But I, Nigel, will not judge those that write using AI. I am the co-founder of this association, I want to be inclusive, I do not want to be a gate keeper. All writers are welcome.
If you do use AI to write, the association will encourage you to stop and tell your story using your words.
That is the definition of a writer: using your words to communicate with the audience.
We do use an SEO company to produce the most searchable website possible. This involves a heavy emphasis on titles. You may look at our titles and think AI – but they are not. The title usually involves a lengthy process of variation till we get a great score with the SEO.
We are open about where and how we use AI in the statement.
Life is about connection. On a planet of billions, there are only two – you and me.
This site will always be free. No blog post, page, or fiction will ever be behind a pay wall. We will never affiliate to any store or product. Any links to other sites, the writer placed because they believe the product or service is good enough to share – not because they received payment for their endorsement.
