A Drabble.

Warning this post depicts despair and depression and contains imagery of a highly sensitive nature including self-harm.

Drabble George's end. A tiny bedsite, with peeling walls and an un made bed

George’s End

Opening his eyes. Darkness outside. Void within. George looked around the room, he loathed to call it home. His wife had that. Signed and sealed, lost, complete with children and dog.

The toilet flushed. The sliding feet of another desperate loser heading to their room.

Weight of contemplation pressing down. All so wrong. Guilty of only enjoying food. Guilty of only working hard. Replaced, he felt his own discombobulation.

Eyes shut again.

Blade squeezing skin.

Cut.

Motionless, the blood sticky, pooling in the dent he made on the mattress.

Void outside. Darkness within.

Lub.

Dub.

Lub.

Dub.

Lub.

NB Lub Dub is the medical description of a heart beat.
