Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Association work?

It starts with you. You want to tell stories. You want to write. You have the inspiration, not sure where to start, or you are progressing and thinking about after you have finished. If you need help, we are here.

Do I need to be an active participant to join?

Every writer in the association has a life outside their writing. Families, work, socialising, are all essential parts of a writers life. If you can help others, we would hope you would. Everything is voluntary.

Will you publish my story?

We do have a publishing arm: WWA-Imprint. We want all authors to keep control of the creativity and content of their work. What you write, what genre you write in, that is all up to you. We are here to help.

Is there a membership fee?

No. There never will be. This website costs money. They are born by one member, Nigel Hare. It is updated by him.

Earning money being a writer is hard. It will never get any easier. The Association will never add to those costs.
